Reimagining higher education for the future of work

How we’re accelerating change

The Work-integrated Learning (WIL) Accelerator, led by Arizona State University, is a national initiative advancing career-connected learning. We bring together higher education institutions, employers, and EdTech innovators to design, test, and scale work-integrated learning, making hands-on, industry-connected learning accessible to every student.

What we're doing

The Institute

A collaborative design space where educators, employers, and EdTech partners co-create and test new models of work-integrated learning.

Here, institutions prototype ways to integrate real-world projects into curricula, share evidence, and scale what works across the higher ed ecosystem.

Resource Hub

An open-access library of tools, frameworks, and case studies that help higher education institutions embed WIL at scale.

Each resource reflects tested approaches and data from across the WIL Accelerator network—practical guides for those leading higher ed transformation and curriculum innovation.

The Network

A national coalition of higher education, workforce, and technology leaders working together to make career-connected learning universal.

Through events, convenings, and storytelling, the WIL Accelerator builds momentum toward a future where hands-on experience is the norm, not the exception.
